“One day at a time” guides everything I do – whether you’re navigating sobriety, processing grief, or just trying to establish a morning routine that actually works.

I’m Hanna, a Licensed MSW who came to therapy through an unconventional path. After witnessing the impact of the overdose epidemic in my community, it led me to pursue my MSW at Fordham, specializing in drug policy and harm reduction. I’ve done extensive community work including Narcan training and drug testing kit distribution. But policy and prevention work only go so far when you have a person in front of you today who needs help. My work at a methadone clinic showed me how therapy could actually change the negative thought patterns and coping mechanisms that contribute to challenges.

Now I balance working with clients navigating substance use disorder and recovery alongside those navigating other major life challenges, anxiety, depression and grief. I truly enjoy working with adults of all ages 18-85 years old and believe it’s a privilege to sit with people in their darkest and brightest moments, being trusted with feelings they can’t share anywhere else.

I bring both professional training and hard-earned life experience to create a non-judgmental environment to process whatever you’re carrying.

We work at your pace, starting exactly where you are. Real therapy is about genuine human connection and having someone who gets that healing is hard, life is complicated and everyone deserves support.

Clients describe me as dependable and fully present. I’ll be the one who holds space while you do the brave work of choosing yourself and your healing journey.

Because if not you, then who?
